Many people in this world, the actual number is way more than we thought, have suffered from kinds of phobias, and quite a number of them even are not aware of phobias. This is the reason I wanted to seek a way, an approachable, accessible, and even artistic way for people who have hard time with phobias to start some self-help, then gradually turning into professional treatments.

iPhobia is a website about visual triggered phobias, contains online visual tests, infographics, and pop-up immersive exhibitions. Visualizing the invisibilities is the major challenge in this project that I tried to transform phobias from something sensible only to something visible by using patterns, typefaces, symbols, and shapes. Meanwhile, considering audience have different tolerance levels with phobias, I created filters for audience to approach all the content.

This topic can be considered as a part of social concerns that focuses on the psychological health. As a designer, I always observe what people may need, what is lack of in the society, and where is the potential problem, so that I can do my efforts to help a better world. In this project I was trying to approach psychology by visual forms to see how much graphic design can be involved with psychology.
