The goal of this project is to answer the question ‘Are milk bottles and wine bottles inferior to art glass from Finland?’
I believe the value of an art piece depends on how we view and treat the piece. not necessarily on where the material actually comes from. There’s no doubt, art glass from Finland is very beautiful and valuable. But under certain circumstances, milk bottles can also be visually pretty with aesthetic artistic value.
I used some normal bottles that can be easily found in any market and took photos of them under different lighting and from different angles to show, that even boring objects can be transformed into something beautiful with artistic value.
